Deposits will be numbered as received and used to book a reservation in the following order: Deposit will be accepted for Prince of Peace Parishioners through April 15th with space reserved in the order the deposits are received. After April 15 the reservation process will continue but will also allow non-Parishioners to make a reservation for any remaining spaces. Should we have more people interested in the trip (and placing their deposits) than we have space available, Prince of Peace Parish members will be accepted first. Second will be any family or friend that is traveling with a Parish member as a double occupancy participant. Third will be anyone outside the Parish. Non-Parishioners are encouraged to make their deposits as soon as they can. In the event that space is not available, the deposit will be fully refunded. All deposits will be numbered in the order they are received.
Why do we need to do this?
We have a limited number of accommodations for the Pilgrimage
so we must establish some guidelines for participation. The group size will
determine the size of motor coach booked. That is, we can book a 40 passenger,
50 passenger or 65 passenger coach as needed. But to control the cost, we must
strive to fill the size coach booked. In other words it would be cost prohibitive
to book the 65 passenger coach if only 51 are needed. In this example we would
place the extra one person (over the 50 passenger coach size) on a waiting list
until we approached the affordability of the 65 passenger coach. If that didn't
materialize there is always the possibility that extenuating circumstances may
prohibit the use of a reservation, thus opening up a space.
