Todi hillside view.
Buon Giorno! (good morning) - Upon your arrival at Rome's Leonardo da Vinci
International Airport (popularly known as Fiumicino) we will be greeted by our
Italian tour escort. We begin our tour along the outskirts of Rome aboard our
private motor coach and traverse on toward the romantic rolling hills of the
Italian region of Umbria, known for its wonderful wines and unique Italian cuisine.
Soon we arrive at Todi, a well-preserved medieval village. We enter the walled
town through one of its three gates to check into the Villa Cesia, formerly
a convent, for dinner and overnight. The Villa Cesia is situated in the ancient
medieval part of the town of Todi near the Piazza del Popolo, the central square.
The Villa is adjacent to the enchanting Church of Saint Prassede with a Cloister
dating back to the fourteenth century. There is a wonderful panoramic terrace
for you to relax from all your travel. Overnight Todi
Accomadations are at The House for ferie Crispolti
a former convent which is next to the Church of Saint Prassede.
