We drive through the town of Trim past the ‘Braveheart’ movie castle to the village of Girley where we will Celebrate Mass at the Church of the Immaculate Conception  with the Murtagh family before visiting their farm, Causey Farm. The Murtagh’s have been farming in this area for over 1,000 years and share their experiences as you become “Irish for A Day.” Here you will learn to bake brown bread, watch a sheep dog demonstration and visit the bog to learn about peat as fuel (weather permitting). After a hearty traditional lunch, learn some Irish songs and maybe an Irish dance before bidding farewell to the Murtaghs and departing for the town of Enniskillen, home of our Ulster Project friends. Overnight Enniskillen.
